Due to inclement weather New River Community College (Dublin and Christiansburg) will be CLOSED Wednesday February 19th.
During phlebotomy, students will learn to draw blood for tests, transfusions, donations or research. A phlebotomist may explain the procedure to patients and assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reactions.
In this program, students will learn and prepare for certification as a phlebotomy technician.
This and other FastForward programs provide affordable and short-term training. Virginia residents may qualify for special pricing.
