The Certified Associate in Project Management - CAPM® shows the world that you possess the foundational knowledge and skills that project based roles demand. It proves that you are ready to take on ways of working that include predictive project management, agile principles and business analysis. Earning your CAPM equips you with all you need to start a career in project management.
Course Objectives:
- instruct participants to understand and apply project management frameworks
- provide input so participants are able to describe the “what?”, “Why?” and “How?” of project management process
- use the approach of “doing” by providing real project examples and templates to help take the participant from the learning mode to the doing mode in their professional and personal lives.
- provide participants with the knowledge needed to apply for and take the certified associate in project management (CAPM®) exam.
Experience needed for application to CAPM:
To sit for the exam, you must meet the following CAPM requirements:
- Have a secondary degree, such as a high school diploma, GED (general educational development), or global equivalent
- Have at least 23 hours of project management education completed before the exam (CAPM Exam Prep Course can fulfill this requirement)
