NRCC LIBRARY

You can access, browse, and read digital magazines on your computer, tablet, or phone. It’s easy to get started: just visit the Flipster page and click a magazine title to immediately start reading in your browser from on campus. If you’re off campus, you will be prompted to login with your NRCC credentials before accessing.

Read on your personal device

Use the Flipster app to download magazines for offline reading. The app is available on the App Store and in Google Play.
Important Note: You must download the app on the NRCC Dublin campus or Christiansburg site for it to work.

Follow the instructions below for downloading the app and accessing magazines from your mobile device:

1. Come to the NRCC campus or Christiansburg site and download the Flipster app on your mobile device.
2. Open the app and press the Get Started button.
3. Search for New River Community College and tap the Log In button.
4. iPhone: When the following prompt appears, Allow “Flipster” to access your location while you use the app? select Allow.
   Android phone: When the VCCS log in page appears enter your NRCC credentials.
5. After logging in you will see a list of All Magazines. Select a magazine and download it to your device and enjoy!
6. Next time you open Flipster from on or off campus, you will not have to log in!
