The Manufacturing Technology Center (MTC) is a not-for-profit organization partially funded by federal and state resources. Its primary mission is to enhance the success of industry in southwest Virginia through innovative consulting. MTC project managers have an average of over 20 years of hands-on experience in a wide range of industries.

New River Community College is a constituent member of this cutting-edge enter along with Mountain Empire Community College, Southwest Virginia Community College, Virginia Highlands Community College and Wytheville Community College.
