Title III Mini-Grant Proposal

NRCC’s Title III grant, Strengthening Academic Programs through Integration of Technology, will be funding mini-grants during the remaining two years of the grant. Grants come in the amount of $500, $1000, $1500 and $2000.

If you are currently working on a project (or would like to work on a project) to integrate technology into your classroom, review the criteria below to see if you might qualify for Title III funding. If your project meets the criteria listed below, see the Mini-Grant Requirements below to see if you are willing to fulfill the requirements.

TITLE III MINI-GRANT CRITERIA:

  • All projects must integrate some form of instructional technology into a course.

  • Courses affected by the project can be any type of course (i.e., this funding is not restricted to distance learning courses.)

  • To avoid duplicate payment for a day’s work, work must be done above and beyond your current work load.

  • Mini-grant funding is open to faculty and staff.

  • To encourage teamwork and cross-curriculum development, individuals can team together to work on a joint project or work together to develop individual projects.

TITLE III MINI-GRANT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Complete and submit the Title III Mini-Grant Proposal form (below).

  • The Title III Selection Committee will review each proposal and determine if Title III will fund the project, and for how much.

  • Those funded will need to submit a project status midway through the project and upon project completion to Kathy Kleppin (nrklepk@nr.edu). Funding will be disbursed upon project completion/implementation and in accordance with college payment procedures.
