Faculty who receive a Title III course development stipend will be required to:

1. Develop an advanced level online course including a minimum of 5 of the following 7 items:

   • Evidence of content chunking where content is presented in specific units or modules
   • Redundancy of content including repetition of course instructions, important information, and navigational information
   • Interaction
   • Content interaction involving programs such as JavaScript or Flash
   • Multimodal learning design to accommodate various learning styles
   • Instructional multimedia including PowerPoint, audio and video clips
   • Learning activities to inspire critical thinking/active learning

2. Provide a one-page interim report of the project. One-half of the total stipend ($1,000) shall be awarded upon receipt of the interim report.

3. Provide a one-page final report of the project. One-half of the total stipend ($1,000) shall be awarded upon receipt of the final report.
